Service

Spa Geo offers a wide range of data products for business-critical geospatial analysis and a wide range of services. We can adjust, convert, combine and match your data. The coverage and content of the map, and the data sources used can be fully customized.
The data can be supplied in the following formats which allow easy loading to most database platforms: Tab delimited file (TXT), dBase (DBF), Access database (MDB), Excel (xls). For those using desktop GIS systems we can deliver the data sets as ESRI Shape files or in MapInfo TAB files. Other formats on request.

Web Feature Service

The Web Map Service (WMS) allows for requests of images generated from geographical data. Finally, the Web Coverage Service (WCS) allows for requests of coverage data (rasters). These services are the heart of GeoServer.

Web Map Service

GeoServer provides support for Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Web Map Service (WMS) versions This is a standard for generating maps on the web - it is how all the visual mapping that GeoServer does is produced. Using a compliant WMS makes it possible for clients to overlay maps from several different sources in a seamless way.

Web Coverage Service

GeoServer provides support for Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Web Map Service (WCS) One can think of WCS as the equivalent of Web Feature Service, but for raster data instead of vector data.
